The following beginning directions are NOT included:
Stem stitch, Lazy Daisy, Straight Stitch, Pistil Stitch, French knots, Bullions, Long French Knots, Satin Stitch, Detached Buttonhole Stitch, Cast-on stitches.

If you know how to do these basic stitches you will have no problem completing this design. The directions tell you how to use the above stitches to make the flowers in the design.

If you know the technique to make the above stitches - no other directions are needed.

The following flowers are in this pattern: Lazy daisy, Impatiens, Forget-Me-nots, Fancy Cast-on Flower.

The following is a list of thread weights and colors used in the sample above.
These are only a suggestion.
Greens: Iris 049 for the leaves; Iris 150 for the stems and Glory 150 for the couched branches.
 Lazy Daisy: Iris 111
Impatiens: Iris 111 for bullions; Cire` or Iris 100 for detached button hole stitches.
Forget Me Nots: Iris 141, 143 or 163 depending on personal preference and dye lots.
Fancy Cast-on Flower: Lola 111 or 100
