Beginners’ Brazilian Embroidery Design

The following Stitch reviews are provided:
Stem Stitch, French Knots, Bullions, Satin Stitch, Couching, Alternating Satin Stitch. These are meant as a review only. If you know these techniques - you will need no other directions.
The instructions assume the basic knowledge of Brazilian Embroidery or the availability of beginner’s books, such as JDR Brazilian Embroidery Book 1 by Ria Ferrell, for a refresher.

The following is the thread suggestions, please check the dye lots and choose your own colors.
Leaves: Iris 099 or 080 or any shaded green that goes from dark to very light.
Imperial: Iris 098 The main petals.
Veins and accents: Iris 125 (You can use the light part of the shaded Iris 007)
Center "Cup": The Dark part of the shaded color Iris 007
Pistils: Iris 400 yellow, Iris 000 white  
 If you prefer you may choose your own colors
