New Design! JDR 6044 The Changing Seasons Brazilian Dimensional Embroidery Design
Stitching Area: 14 x
14 Registration Marks: 17 x 17 Fabric: 20 x 20
A wonderful beginner to intermediate
design.
The inspiration for this design was from a JDR-BE design stitched by
Ruth Griffith.
Sunshine took the JDR-BE design, moved the elements around and
came up with this design.
Kathy Hammer chose the colors and stitched the
finished design.
Directions and graphics by Cheryl Sunshine Schuler.
The colors blend into
each other and change with each day, from one season to another.
Kathy chose
colors to depict the color changes, showing the subtle changes that happen from
season to season.
The suggested colors are
just that- suggested.
This design would be just as elegant when choosing a
smaller pallet of colors and making each individual design motif in the same
colors.
You must have the basic knowledge of Brazilian Embroidery including the
following stitches: stem stitch, couching, French knots, alternating satin
stitch, cast-on stitch, bullions and simple detached buttonhole stitches.
Graphics are provided as a refresher for the stitch techniques.
